I thought it would be a good idea to create an initial collaborative playlist that Esha and I could add our potential song choices to, and we soon realised that most of these songs fell under the umbrella of Alternative/Indie music. Since both of us were drawn to this genre category and were already somewhat familiar with it thanks to our daily online excursions on Spotify, our confidence in picking Alternative/Indie was solidified even more.
Now that we have a broad category of music to choose a song from, I’ll be using the new few posts to further explore the ins and outs of Alternative/Indie music and have an excuse to listen to an astronomical amount of similar songs in the name of research—a win in my book, truly.
