ABOUT ME
Much to my surprise, I have managed to survive the highs and lows of AS Media Studies. With a deeper appreciation for, among many other things, well-written representation in mainstream films and the intersections of media and literature, I would definitely say that this class has truly been a great learning experience. I’m sure you’ll be pleased to know that it was a healthy amalgamation of epiphanies good (e.g. my new-found liking for gushing about my favourite films coherently enough to make for decent Media assignments) and bad (e.g. my inability to get things done unless I have a perfectly curated playlist to help me romanticise—and, therefore, achieve—productivity).

Clearly, creating an absurd amount of Spotify playlists remains one of my favourite pastimes, which is to say that I am looking forward to exploring the realm of music in Media Studies during this academic year and hope I won’t be constantly falling into the rabbit hole of listening to music every time I sit down to work on my assignments.
