... Here’s what I have so far as a tentative, very wow making films is easier said than done draft of the script:
There are a few things noticeably not great about it and I will be working on the script more before we start filming after taking into consideration the team members’ input, namely regarding:
the characters’ set up which is not as fleshed out as I would like it to be;
cutting unnecessary exposition if it adds nothing to the overall narrative or trying to incorporate it into the story in a more organic way that gives it significance in the narrative, particularly keeping in mind that all parts of the opening should be relevant if we’re to not exceed the two minute mark;
and trying to add more nuance to the journalist’s character and her relationship with the band/their story if everyone agrees it’s necessary.
Since we do not have a confirmed cast yet, it is also likely that the script and characters’ personalities might also change according to the cast and what’s most natural for them in order to make the presentation of the characters as believable as possible.
